Lindsay Lohan ::Did not ‘scrape’ man with her car

Lindsay Lohan ,With less than two weeks to go until her probation effectively ends, Lindsay Lohan has been accused of grazing a man’s knee with her car, then driving away. The actress called the accusation as a “complete lie” on Twitter. Police told the Associated Press that paparazzi surrounded Lohan’s car outside of a Hollywood club early Wednesday, as she attempted to drive away. A man who works at a nearby Hookah Lounge says the car grazed his knee.

 Lohan responded to this claim on Twitter:
Scrape? This is all a complete lie. I've been at community service. Last night, I attempted to wish a friend happy birthday, which I didn't even get to do because I was freaked out by all of the paparazzi. These false accusations are absurd. Indeed, Sgt. Mark Ro told the AP that a police report wasn’t taken because the man wasn’t injured. A woman who said she was an eyewitness told TMZ that Lohan did not hit the man or a car. Lohan’s publicist told the AP, “We are confident this matter will be cleared up in the next few days.” The actress, who recently hosted “Saturday Night Live” to mixed reviews, will appear in court March 29 for her final probation hearing. Judge Stephanie Sautner told Lohan at her penultimate court appearance in February that after this next hearing, “all you have to do is obey all laws.”

Lindsay Lohan :: Monroe Skit Cut

A skit featuring Lindsay Lohan as Marilyn Monroe on last week's March 3 episode of Saturday Night Live was cut, it has been reported. According to TMZ, it featured Lohan as Monroe and Mad Men star Jon Hamm as John F Kennedy.The sketch apparently made it through rehearsals and was performed live, but had to be cut from the final broadcast due to lack of time. In the skit, the two appear in a daydream to Rick Santorum, played by Andy Samberg.

Monroe and the former US president tell Santorum that Monroe was on birth control thanks to Medicare, prompting Santorum to begin vomiting. Santorum stated recently that a 1960 speech by Kennedy on the importance of the separation of religion and politics made him "want to throw up". This is not the first time Lohan has imitated an old Hollywood star.

 Lohan posed in an issue of Playboy styled after Monroe's famous spread. She is also set to play the late Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming Lifetime biopic. Lohan got positive reviews for her performance last week from stars including Zooey Deschanel and Taran Killam.

Avril Lavigne :: New look

Singer Avril Lavigne has gone from skater girl to seductress in her newest video "Goodbye." Dedicated to her fans as she closed out the last leg of her recent "Black Star" tour, the video follows her around celebrity hideout Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles wearing little more than heels and black lingerie. As sexy as she looks, the 27-year-old Canadian singer is practically unrecognizable out of her tomboy uniform of a t-shirt and jeans. Has she gone too extreme in an attempt to be more mature? In a little intro, Lavigne graciously thanks all the people who attended her tour and bought her album, but she looks a little unsure when she brings up the video and how it's dedicated to her fans.

 Clearly Lavigne was nervous about, quite literally, exposing a new side of herself. The music video starts around 1:45, shot on the cheap with a grainy vintage film effect by friend Mark Liddell. The video is more of a moving photo shoot, consisting of mostly shots of Lavigne disinterestedly posing around in various lingerie looks and a wavy blond wig, shaving with champagne, and concluding with a Tammy Faye-worthy (and kind of goth) black eyeliner-stained cry.

Lindsay Lohan :: Grown up

Lindsay Lohan says she has grown up and become something of a homebody after her well-publicized legal troubles. Lohan gave the interview with Matt Lauer on "Today" in advance of hosting "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, marking a comeback of sorts for the promising young actress whose career was sidelined by substance abuse problems, family drama and tabloid headlines. "I've certainly seen a lot, and I've grown," Lohan said. "I've just kind of, I've learned how to live my life in a way that I'm happy. And I can do the things that I want to do." She added: "I think it's this last kind of, like, whirlwind of experiences I've gone through this last year and a half. I've kind of just taken a step back and said, 'I'm not doing what I love to do,' and I need to find a way to kind of find that balance again."

 Lohan, 25, said the changes came after evaluating the people in her life. She said she trusts her mother and some of her family, but that there were many others who, before, did not have her best interests at heart. She said does have some regret for the choices she had made. "But I'm grateful for where I am today because of them," she said. "Because I've seen, I don't need to see any more negative stuff. I don't need to put myself in those places any more." With one court appearance to go, Lohan thanked Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner and called her court-ordered time at the L.A. County morgue a "humbling" experience. "The two women I worked there [with] have been so wonderful to me," Lohan said of the morgue. "I've learned so much from them ... It's been a learning experience. I'm grateful that I've learned from it. It's helped me."

Lindsay Lohan :: Bored with Party

The actress Lindsay Lohan says in a prerecorded interview with NBC's Today show that she felt "uncomfortable" the last time she went out partying and that she had turned into more of a homebody, People magazine reported. "That's not my thing anymore," she tells host Matt Lauer in the interview set to air on Thursday morning. "I went out, actually, a few months ago with a friend. And I was so uncomfortable. Not because I felt tempted, just because it was just the same thing that it always was before. "And it just wasn't fun for me. I've become more of a homebody, and I like that." Lohan - who has had a well-publicised battle with drugs and alcohol - is near the end of a 60-day community service stint at a Los Angeles morgue and is likely to move soon to informal probation. She is currently on probation after pleading no contest in May 2011 to stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Los Angeles boutique, in addition to a 2007 DUI case. In the Today interview, Lohan says had been "in denial" and needed "a wake-up call" about her party antics and was looking forward to returning to the spotlight this weekend by hosting Saturday Night Live. "I still need to go through the process of proving myself,"
 Lohan says. "You know, with SNL, being on time, being, you know, keeping my - can't say the word - but stuff together." Meanwhile, sources close to Lohan said she told SNL producers that nothing will be off-limits on the show's March 3 episode, TMZ reported. The 25-year-old wants to show that she is in on the joke as she tries to put the public's focus on her acting instead of her tabloid-worthy exploits, the sources said. She reportedly contacted SNL executive producer Lorne Michaels personally and asked to host the show. She has previously hosted three times between 2004 and 2006. She appeared before a judge last week in Los Angeles to report that she had completed 15 days of community service and five therapy sessions since her previous court date in January. Judge Stephanie Sautner was pleased with Lohan's progress, telling her she was "in the homestretch" and could finish her probation by her next court hearing, set for March 29. In addition to her SNL gig, Lohan is rumored to be preparing to star in an Elizabeth Taylor biopic on Lifetime, though the cable network would not confirm the casting report when contacted by NewsCore.

Katie Holmes :: New Shocking Campaign

Katie Holmes tapped into her sexy side to pose for jewellery brand H. Stern’s latest campaign. In the photos, the actress gives the camera a sultry stare while wearing only a bra or swimsuit, and jewellery. It’s her third campaign for H. Stern and the ads are currently running in Israel. Avril Lavigne:: Celebrating her 10 year anniversary in music

Avril Lavigne has come a long way from where she started. First bursting into the scene with "Complicated" back in 2002, Avril will soon be celebrating her 10 year anniversary in music, and as an artist she has evolved and grown while staying true to herself. "Yeah, I’ve been doing this for a really long time, 10 years, professionally in music," she tells MTV News. "And I would always look back and just say always be true to yourself, do what you want and follow your gut. And that was what I did."

 Avril Lavigne never wanted to be like everybody else. She never gave in to the pop stereotypes or pressures about changing her music. "As a creative person you have to be in tune with that and really have a sense of who you are and what you're going for because other people come in and tell you [that] you should do this and that so I always stayed focused on what it is that I wanted to do," she says.

Avril Lavigne :: Accident

Brody Jenner and girlfriend Avril Lavigne had a bloody bad time at Hollywood's Roosevelt Hotel over the weekend. Hills star (and stepbrother to Kim Kardashian) Brody, 28, and rocker girlfriend Lavigne, 27, both sustained bloody cuts and bruises with Brody getting stitches at a local hospital -- following an intense brawl inside the L.A. hotspot. (X17 first revealed shots of a bloodied Brody nursing his wound outside the club following the incident.)
Brody was photographed with a large, bloody gash on his forehead, said to be from a smashed bottle after he attempted to break up a fight between his "Complicated" singer girlfriend and another woman. "I don't fight.

 I don't believe in it," Lavigne tweeted late Monday. "To clear things up I got attacked by 5 people last night out of nowhere. Not cool. My face is f----ed."

Although Lavigne wasn't photographed, she reported her grisly facial injuries: "As in black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises and cuts. So not ok to be abusive to others. Violence is never the answer."

Lindsay Lohan :: Come in And Out of LA Jail

Lindsay Lohan has been released from a Los Angeles County jail, just hours after arriving to serve a 30-day sentence for violating probation. Deputy Tony Moore says Lohan was released from the Century Regional Detention facility in Lynwood early Monday, less than five hours after she reported to the jail. The 25-year-old Mean Girls star was booked into the jail at 8.50pm (local time) on Sunday. It was expected to be a short stay because of jail overcrowding.

 The deputy didn't have an exact time of release, but news crews staking out the jail and her Venice home are reporting she was home by 2am. Lohan had until November 9 to report to the women's jail. A judge last week ordered jail time after finding Lohan violated her probation by being terminated from a community service assignment at a women's shelter.

 The judge imposed a complicated sentence, telling Lohan that she will now have to perform all of her community service at the county morgue or risk serving an additional 270 days in jail. It's Lohan's fifth jail sentence since being arrested twice for drink driving in 2007.

Paris Hilton ::Puts the Kibosh

Super diva  Paris Hilton's has a perfect record this week when it comes to putting away freakishly obssessive fans.
A day after a wannabe Mr. Paris was sentenced to jail for attacking her and boyfriend Cy Waits on their way to court to testify against an alleged home intruder, the latter creep has just been found guilty of a felony.

Earlier today a Van Nuys jury returned a guilty verdict against Nathan Prada for attempted first-degree burglary.
Prada was arrested last August after breaking into Hilton's Hollywood home brandishing two big knives.
Waits, however, managed to get the jump on Prada and held him at gunpoint until cops arrived.
The highlight of this week's trial was the dramatic testimony of Hilton (derisively referred to as "Princess Paris" by Prada's attorney, Juan Perez) and Waits, as well as evidence presented by LAPD Det. Kevin Romine, who told jurors that Prada confessed his crime, explaining to the detective that the heist would "get [Prada] money to go live on a deserted island" as he knew "she was famous and she was from a rich family."
Prada, 31, will remain behind bars until his June 29 sentencing, when he faces up to three years in prison.
Who knows? He might be able to swap tales of Hilton-induced woe with James Rainford. The man, who accosted Hilton and Waits as they went to testify in the Prada case on Wednesday (and whom Hilton referred to in a tweet as her "other psycho intruder"), was sentenced to 227 days in jail after pleading no contest to misdemeanor battery.
Now that these guys are locked up, maybe she can enjoy her weekend.
