Taylor Swift ::Brunette Hair

 Taylor Swift goes and throws us a curveball: the singer is now brunette! Well, almost -- it's a dirty blonde-meets-brown, if we're getting technical. But the darker 'do (which we believe is a dye job, but could be a wig...) is a new look for Tay, who's become as known for her sparkling blonde locks as she is for her sparkling dresses. Swift unveiled her dark hair in the latest CoverGirl campaign, entitled "See You, Be You." For the shoot, T-Swift wore lots of black and white and donned a floppy black hat that, combined with her straight hair and blunt bangs, reminded us of her fantastic Vogue spread earlier this year. It was that Vogue editorial, in part, that inspired Swift to get more adventurous with her look.

"I was so excited to be shooting the cover of Vogue that I let them cut bangs for me at the shoot," she recently told Refinery29. "It turned out to be one of my favorite changes I've ever made to my hair. Moral of the story: Always trust Vogue." Indeed. Brunette is an even bolder change than bangs, we think, but a good one. As much as she claims to "experiment as much as I can with fashion and makeup looks," Swift has been fairly loyal to her blonde hair-red lip-black eyeliner combo for some time. So it's nice to see the young star switch things up... As long as it doesn't involve using Sharpies as eye makeup. That just sounds dangerous.

Taylor Swift ::With Arnold Schwarzenegger's son

Taylor Swift spent Independence Day (04.07.12) with Arnold Schwarzenegger's son. The 22-year-old singer - who has previously dated John Mayer, Joe Jonas and Jake Gyllenhaal - was spotted in Massachusetts with Patrick Schwarzenegger, 18, taking a walk together on the beach. Though it is unconfirmed whether they are dating, gossip website TMZ reports they seemed very comfortable in one another's company and laughed a lot as they chatted.
 Patrick - who, along with Taylor, was also seen with members of the Kennedy family - later took to his twitter page to reveal he had had an ''amazing'' holiday. He wrote: ''Had such an amazing day. Best 4th of July I could ask for. Hope everyone had a great day! (sic)'' It seems Taylor's company had cheered Patrick up as he had earlier been complaining about the noise on his flight from Austria to Boston.

 He wrote: ''This is gonna be a long flight... Last row in the whole plane next to the bathrooms with 2 baby's sitting few seats away from me... Ahhhh ''determined to make an airline when I'm older & have a separate section for babies to sit in with noise proof walls! This baby was so loud!!!(sic)'' During his time in Europe, Patrick had the chance to spend some quality time with his famous father. He tweeted on Tuesday (03.07.12): ''Just got to Vienna and got to meet up with my dad here. So nice to see some family again!! Miss the rest of the family. ''My Dad took me and my friends straight to meet the councillor of Austria and get a tour of Didier Bulkhager. Great day thus far in Austria!

''Most amazing night. My dad took me and my friends for a delicious dinner. Wienerschnitzle, kaiserschmarrn, wine, and cigars = best dinner!!! (sic)'' He later added: ''Amazing euro trip. Sucks that I have to leave, gonna miss being with all my friends here. Gonna remember this trip my whole life. ''But.. Boston here I come!! Couldn't be happier to be going to work on another film. So happy to be apart of Grown Ups 2! Should be fun shoot (sic)''

Taylor Swift :: Crush On NFL Star

Taylor Swift- who has previously dated stars including Taylor Lautner, Jake Gyllenhaal and Joe Jonas - was spotted by an observer looking upon the NFL star 'like a little puppy dog' when the pair had dinner with three other friends at Toscanova in Los Angeles recently. A source told Us Weekly: 'There were no public displays of affection between Taylor and Tim, but she surely looked happy to be there.' Another insider added: 'Yes, she has a crush on him. She is a massive fan, but I don't think he sees her that way.' During the two-hour meal, the 'Mean' hitmaker was spotted sipping on a cafe latte, while the Denver Broncos quarterback enjoyed chicken paillard, fettuccine bolognese and cappellini. However, the blonde beauty is said to have embarked on a 'friendship' with the 24-year-old hunk, rather than a romance.
 The source added: 'They actually have been speaking a lot about the Bible and Christianity. Right now it's on the friendship tip - even though that frustrates her.' Taylor recently admitted she 'really loves' writing about her relationships and is fascinated by the way they change as she grows older.
 She explained: 'I think that love is always going to be a huge theme in what I write about just because there are no two similar relationships, there are no two times that you feel love the same way or hurt the same way or (feel) rejection in the same way. It's all different and I'm fascinated by that. 'I really love to go back to human interaction and the way we make each other feel. But that at 22 is different than it was at 18 or 19 when I made my last album at 16 and 17 when I made 'Fearless'. As you grow, you change in the way you process emotion.'

Taylor Swift ::Dating Tim Tebow

Actress Taylor Swift has ignited rumours that she is dating American football star Tim Tebow.
The 22-year-old country singer was seen leaving a Los Angeles eatery on Monday with the Denver Broncos quarterback. An eyewitness told ClevverNews that Taylor appeared to be on a date with Tim at Toscanova Italian restaurant in Century City. “After dinner, he walked her out,” the bystander said. “And then he walked back in to join two other people.” The twosome were also seen together on February 24 at Hollywood agency WME’s pre-Oscar bash. An insider told Celebuzz that they seemed quite cosy in each other’s company. “They were together for almost an hour,” the source said. “She approached Tim and he looked more than happy to be talking with her.” Taylor has dated some of the most eligible men in Hollywood including Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Lautner, Joe Jonas and John Mayer.
Taylor Swift will be arriving with her 18-year-old guest in Las Vegas, Nev. for the AMC Awards on April 1 after the teen, who is suffering from leukemia, reached out to her on Facebook. According to SoundSpike, Kevin McGuire of Somerdale, N.J. started a Facebook campaign with his sister to try to get Swift to come to his prom. The campaign reached 90,000 followers on the social networking site. McGuire recently had a relapse of acute lymphoblastic leukemia and, “Nothing, I mean NOTHING brightens Kevin’s day more than Swift,” his sister wrote on the page. Swift responded to him on Facebook, writing that that she is not able to make it to the prom, but, “I was wondering, the AMC Awards are coming up. Would you be my date?” McGuire, who has been suffering with the disease since he was 13, was quick to accept the invitation. “Obviously I said yes,” he said. “The AMC Awards is a lot better than the senior prom.”

Taylor Swift ::Cancer-Fighting Teen Invites

Lots of guys want to go on a date with Taylor Swift. So, what makes 18-year-old Kevin McGuire from Somerdale, New Jersey any different from the pack of Swift's would-be suitors?

Well, there are a few things, which I'll go over in a minute. But, suffice to say, McGuire, who recently asked Swift via Facebook to be his prom date in June, stands out for the response he got. Swift declined the offer...but asked him to accompany her to a prestigious awards show in April, instead! How did this all happen? The backstory: McGuire has had a painful struggle with leukemia since he was 13 years old. He went into remission in 2010, but sadly relapsed and is currently battling cancer for a second time.

 His older sister, Victoria, impressed with her brother's bravery and character, started a Facebook campaign with the hope of granting his greatest wish-convincing Swift to attend prom with him. "All throughout Kevin's treatment he kept his character intact, remained playing basketball, and even started varsity football as a freshman," Victoria McGuire explained on Facebook. "Kevin is the kindest, most noble 18-year-old a person could even fathom meeting, and through out his ups and downs Kevin never even questioned 'why me?' "Nothing, and I mean NOTHING brightens Kevin's day more than Taylor Swift," she continued. "Kevin DESERVES more than anyone a special event in his life." Victoria's idea caught the attention of local news, who interviewed her about it. "[Kevin] said 'who would want to go to the prom with me? I am going to be bald, my appearance is going to change,'" she told an NBC affiliate. "We both looked at each other and I said, 'What if I got Taylor Swift to go to the prom with you?'" The startled teenager told local news after reading the post in a bed at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia that he didn't know what to say. "I was just trying not to throw up." (He recovered enough composure to accept the invitation, provided he's feeling well enough when the date arrives.)

Taylor Swift :: Won Two GRAMMY awards

The 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards began on a somber note. After a rousing performance from Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band to kick things off, host LL Cool J took center stage and opened with a heartfelt prayer in memory of Whitney Houston, who passed away Saturday. The rest of the night was a celebration of music from across all genres, tributes to artists both lost and living, and of course, the passing out of awards.
 Taylor Swift was the night’s big winner for country music. Her hit song “Mean” earned her two GRAMMY Awards, for Best Solo Country Performance and Best Country Song. “There is no feeling quite like writing a song about someone who is mean to you and makes your life miserable and winning a Grammy for it,” she said while accepting the trophy for Best Country Solo Performance. “Thank you.”

Taylor also performed “Mean” during the show, taking her set back to the Depression era. Having written the song in response to harsh criticism, Taylor changed up the last lines to say “Someday, I’ll be, singing this at the Grammys.” Her performance received a standing ovation from her fellow artists.

Taylor Swift :: EXCLUSIVE "VOGUE"Interview

February issue of Vogue Singer Taylor Swift's first turn on the legendary fashion mag's cover ,the 22-year-old country-pop star has just one word to describe her teen years.

"So . . . middle school? Awkward," says Swift, who grew up in Pennsylvania, first on a rural Christmas tree farm and later in a wealthier suburban area. "Having a hobby that's different from everyone else's? Awkward. Singing the national anthem on weekends instead of going to sleepovers? More awkward. Gain a lot of weight before you hit the growth spurt? Awkward. Frizzy hair, don't embrace the curls yet? Awkward. Try to straighten it? Awkward!"

And despite her current fame, all those Grammys, lots of big paychecks (oh, and even a Vogue cover, her "awkward" past is still hard to shake. "I think who you are in school really sticks with you," Swift admits. "I don't ever feel like the cool kid at the party, ever. It's like, Smile and be nice to everybody, because you were not invited to be here."
She's had a few well publicized breakups (Jonas dumped her over the phone a few years ago, while Gyllenhaal broke up with her just before Christmas 2010), and now has a list of red flags when it comes to men -- like when a guy doesn't feel the need to get to know her and relies on what the media's said about her, anyone who's obsessed with privacy, a boyfriend threatened by the fact she needs a security team, or someone who puts her down a lot "to level the playing field." (That one kinda' seems like a given.)

The 5'10" blonde insists she's not dating anyone currently, and in the meantime, she's working on her fourth album, which draws on past romantic troubles. "There's just been this earth-shattering, not recent, but absolute crash-and-burn heartbreak," she says, "and that will turn out to be what the next album is about. The only way that I can feel better about myself -- pull myself out of that awful pain of losing someone -- is writing songs about it to get some sort of clarity."

Taylor Swift :: BioGraphy

                                              Taylor Swift

Date of Birth ::13 December 1989, Reading, Pennsylvania, USA

Birth Name ::Taylor Alison Swift

Height :: 5' 11" (1.80 m)

Personal Quotes By Taylor ::
[on working with David Copperfield at the 2009 CMA awards] Working with David was a lot of fun, especially being sawed in half. A couple of my friends were there watching us rehearse the sawing. After David had cut me in two and pushed my halves apart, he invited them up on stage to take a closer look at me and they were totally blown away, because they could see right inside the boxes and see that I wasn't curled up inside the top one. One of them looked at me laying there in two pieces in front of them and said "Whoa, Taylor - He really has sawn you in half, hasn't he??!!". [on the Britney Spears perfume she wore] The coolest girl in school wore Britney Spears' Fantasy, and I had to copy her. People haven't always been there for me, but music always has. I never want to change so much that people can't recognize me. When I was a little girl I used to read fairy tales.
In fairy tales you meet Prince Charming and he's everything you ever wanted. In fairy tales the bad guy is very easy to spot. The bad guy is always wearing a black cape so you always know who he is. Then you grow up and you realize that Prince Charming is not as easy to find as you thought. You realize the bad guy is not wearing a black cape and he's not easy to spot; he's really funny, and he makes you laugh, and he has perfect hair. There's more to life than dating the boy on the football team. I'm intimidated by the fear of being average. Everyone I know has had fair warning! I've always written about who's spending time with me, so if they get into any kind of a relationship with me, they know what they're getting into. There is a strength in letting bygones be bygones. It was therapeutic to write and perform. Sometimes it's best not to say anything. I just save it for the music. Love is fascinating. Wishing for it, pining for it and the anger that comes when you lose it. I used to think that I could figure out some pattern to love, like if you don't text a guy back for a half-hour, he'll like you more. But there is no pattern. Absolutely nothing is predictable in love.

Taylor Swift :: Christmas Wish

Singer Taylor Swift has it all  a handful of multiplatinum albums, a sold-out world tour, a star-studded little black book but even she hopes to find something special under her Christmas tree this year.

"I want a pasta maker, antique picture frames, or anything from Free People or Anthropologie," the 22-year-old singer tells Twist. In return, Swift plans to give her friends "funny or thoughtful gifts based on things they've said this year."
But for Swift, Christmas is about more than just giving gifts  it's about spending quality time with friends and family.
"It's amazing to have us all together," she says. "To have everyone back in Nashville for the holidays is one of my favorite things about this time of year." "My family and I always decorate a big Christmas tree together and look at the ornaments Austin and I made when we were kids," she adds. "It's so nostalgic, looking back at all the Christmases past and comparing them to how different our lives are now."
Rest assured, Swift hasn't forgotten about her fans this holiday season. "I hope that they're happy, wherever they are. I hope that this holiday season, they feel loved by the people around them," Swift tells Twist. "And most of all I hope they feel appreciated by me. My life would look nothing like this without them."

Taylor Swift :: Happy Birthday at CMT Awards

CMT caught up with Swift on the red carpet of the event, and Swift opened up about being honored alongside fellow Nashville pals Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum and Brad Paisley.

"What I love about this event is it feels very low-key and fun and you can bring your friends, you sit at a table. It's very unlike any other award show," she said late last month at the taping in Music City. "Because you're not sitting there wondering who's going to win. There's no anxiety, because you know who's being honored, and it's all about hearing the way the music is presented by other artists. It's really exciting."

The All-American Rejects were picked to perform one of Taylor's tracks at the show, which airs on CMT at 9 p.m. ET tonight. For their homage to the country superstar, they decided to take one of her particularly country-tinged Speak Now singles and do it up AAR style.

"It's special. We have a special performance for Miss Taylor Swift," lead singer Tyson Ritter said. "We're performing her song 'Mean.' We definitely sort of took a country song and made it not anything like what it was. It's going to be a tribute to the fact that any song can stand in any genre, and we definitely brought it into ours. We're like the Osmonds, except we're the side that's a little more rock and roll."

Ritter went on to gush about Swift and her work ethic. "She's the real deal," he explained. "She doesn't take sh-- from anybody while she does it. And strong women, that's something to be feared and adored, right?"

Having the All-American Rejects put their stamp on a track is the opposite of whatSwift did on her Speak Now Tour. Stop after stop, she reimagined songs from artists like T.I., Flo Rida and Usher, with the artists themselves right by her side.

"I would sum up this past year as being a spontaneous, exciting, wonderful year of collaborations with artists I never expected would come up on my stage and perform for my fans," she explained. "I see flashbacks of stadium shows and Usher coming out on stage and James Taylor coming out onstage and all these different artists coming out and playing with me, which was an amazing time for me."
