Kim Kardashian :: Fall of her image on Askmen's Survey

The results are in for AskMen’s fifth annual Great Male Survey, which polled over 50,000 men from around the world on issues ranging from online snooping to what keeps them up at night. But in addition to gauging popular male opinion on a variety of topics, the Great Male Survey also provides a clearer picture on where men stand on public figures – including which celebs have worn out their welcome. And, as it turns out, if it were up to guys, Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber’s 15 minutes would be just about up.

When asked which female public figures men were most tired of hearing about in 2012, the message came through loud and clear in the survey’s findings: Kim Kardashian - 62% Nicki Minaj - 18% Jennifer Lopez - 9% Kate Middleton - 6% Sofia Vergara – 3% Kate Upton - 2%

After generating only 17% of a similar vote in 2011, Kim Kardashian jumped to the top of the list in 2012. And while Kim’s 62% didn’t leave much for the other ladies, maybe “American Idol” producers shouldn’t be too worried about rumors of Jennifer Lopez leaving the show: 9% of AskMen’s readers say they’ve had their fill of J.Lo.

Rihanna ::Sued her former accountants

Rihanna sued her former accountantsThursday, blaming them for tens of millions of dollars in losses, shoddy bookkeeping, a failure to recommend she trim expenses when a 2009 tour was losing money and an ongoing audit by theInternal Revenue Service.

The lawsuit in federal court in Manhattan sought unspecified damages against New York-based Berdon LLP and two accountants. A Berdon spokeswoman said the company had no immediate comment.
The singer, suing under her real name, Robyn Fenty, alleged through her attorneys that the defendants drained tens of millions of dollars from revenues while she launched four national and international tours over a five-year period.
By the "Last Girl on Earth" tour in 2009, Rihanna learned that the tour had managed "significant net losses" despite robust revenues, though the defendants had managed to pocket 22 percent of the tour's total revenues while paying Rihanna just 6 percent of revenues, the lawsuit said. It said Berdon's unusual accounting practice of paying itself a percentage of gross tour income as commissions left it no incentive to "counsel" Rihanna to reduce expenses or put in place appropriate financial controls.
The lawsuit alleged that the practice of paying itself commissions on revenues was not standard in the accounting and business management industry and created a clear conflict of interest.
Rihanna's lawyers also blamed the accounting firm for an ongoing IRS audit of her tax returns, saying she was forced to spend significant resources to correct errors resulting from negligence.
Since firing the firm and its accountants in September 2010, Rihanna's fortunes already have reversed, the lawsuit said. The "Loud" tour stretching from June 2011 to December 2011 produced a net profit equal to more than 40 percent of total tour revenues, it added.
According to the lawsuit, the singer hired the accountants in 2005 when she was a 16-year-old from Barbados launching her career. She alleged that they repeatedly breached their agreements, engaged in misconduct and malfeasance, paid themselves excessive commissions, created entities without regard to their effect on her taxes and failed to document revenue and expenses and implement a proper budget.
The lawsuit also blamed the company for Rihanna's 2009 purchase of a new home, saying competent business managers would have told her that her tour was losing money and that it would not be advisable to buy such an expensive home at that time.
Last year, Rihanna sued a real estate company in Los Angeles over the $6.9 million purchase of a hillside home in 2009, saying it had serious structural defects that made it inhabitable.

Katy Perry :: Star in Comic Book

Pop star Katy Perry will become the latest celebrity to be depicted in the biography comic book "Fame" series, publisher Bluewater Productions said on Wednesday. The 27-year-old's life shown in "Fame: Katy Perry" has her moving from a Californian churchgoing upbringing under her Christian parents to bouncing around several music labels in Los Angeles until striking a deal that landed her first big hits, "I Kissed A Girl," and "Hot n Cold." Perry, who has delved into colorful, fantasy-filled recreations of herself in music videos not unlike a comic book character.

It  will also be the subject of a 3-D concert documentary due for release next month. Her marriage to actor and comedian Russell Brand ended late last year.

The Firework singer headed to London nightclub Cirque Du Soir, sporting a pretty transparent blouse and black and white skirt. But as she left the bash in the early hours of the morning, she accidentally flashed her bum as she squeezed past a bollard. See the photo here Katy's fella, Florence + The Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd, also put in an appearance at the night. Rob was in the pit at Wembley singing along to her set – but he didn’t know the words. The pair have been spending a lot of time together recently, heading out on a date at a bowling alley earlier this week. But an appearance on the Graham Norton show saw her hint that she might have more than one bloke on the go. When the host asked her if she was single, she replied: “My dance card is full – I’m just not sure who I’m dancing with." She went on to cheekily joke that she has people call round “in the middle of the night” to satisfy her needs.

Tyra Banks ::Refused Vogue

Tyra Banks,former supermodel and host of "America's Next Top Model" -- praises the decision, but still criticizes the fashion industry, writing that her famous curves make her too big for most modeling gigs.
While she says Vogue is stepping up to the plate to make modeling a healthier career path, she stresses that the thin requirement is something set by the industry -- which creates runway items in a teensy sample size. To keep working, says Banks, a model will do whatever it takes to fit into those clothes. "The truth is that if I was just starting to model at age 17 in 2012, I could not have had the career that I did," she writes at The Daily Beast. "I would've been considered too heavy. In my time, the average model's size was a four or six. Today you are expected to be a size zero. When I started out, I didn't know such a size even existed." Banks recounts what happened when she began to get "curvy."

She says her agency gave her mom a list of designers that no longer wanted to work with her. But Banks credits that moment for pushing her to even greater stardom. "As my mom wiped the tears from my face, she said, 'Tyra, you know what we're going to do about this? We're going to go eat pizza.' We sat in a tiny pizzeria in Milan and strategized about how to turn my curves into a curveball. In a way, it was my decision not to starve myself that turned me into a supermodel, and later on, a businesswoman." Tyra goes on to suggest that models be protected by a guild -- a union that would set some basic rules on age, size and help to prevent discrimination or pressure to lose weight no matter the cost to one's health.

Jennifer Lopez :: No. 1 on Forbes' Celebrity 100 list

It used to be enough for a celebrity to act or sing or swing a bat really well. Now for a celeb to be considered a real success he or she needs sell clothes, hawk fragrances, and even invest in technology startups. While she hasn't stormed Silicon Valley just yet, Jennifer Lopez is a state-of-the-art celebrity success story. With $52 million in earnings over the last 12 months and a massive amount of fame, Lopez lands at No. 1 on Forbes' Celebrity 100 list for the first time.

A few years ago it looked like Lopez was done. Her albums, like the all-Spanish Como Ama una Mujer, failed to find the broad audience she once enjoyed. Her movies, like "El Cantante," flopped.
Then in 2010 the singer landed a judge's chair on "American Idol." The job gave her a platform to promote her music and turn her image around. It didn't hurt that she also split from her husband, Marc Anthony. Suddenly a single mother, Lopez lapped up the media attention and scored lucrative endorsement deals with companies like L'Oreal and Gillette. She now has a line of clothing at Kohl's, a top-selling fragrance, and she was able to secure a nice bump — to $20 million — on her "Idol" salary for a second season. With 6.6 million followers on Twitter and 12 million fans on Facebook, she's also proved a master of social media.

Angelina Jolie ::seek refuge across the border in Ecuador

Hollywood star Angelina Jolie has visited displaced Colombians forced to seek refuge across the border in Ecuador, as a special envoy of High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres, according to the UNHCR. It was the first such working visit for the screen star since Guterres named her to the post this month. She has however been a UN goodwill ambassador since 2001, and as such made 40 visits around the world in the past decade.

The new post will see the Oscar-winning actress perform a more diplomatic role. "She is expected to focus on large-scale crises resulting in the mass displacement of people, to undertake advocacy and represent UNHCR and Mr Guterres at the diplomatic level, engaging with relevant interlocutors on global displacement issues," UNHCR spokesman Adrian Edwards said last week. Ecuador is the Latin American nation which has the largest number of refugees -- including some 56,000 from neighboring Colombia. Jolie visited with refugees in Sucumbios province on Saturday, the UN said.

Rihanna :: Dating New Girl

The "Talk That Talk" singer tweeted on Thursday night that she was going on her first date in nearly two years — and then she showed up at Santa Monica, California, restaurant Giorgio Baldi hand-in-hand with a gal pal, Melissa Forde. After dinner, the ladies partied on at Hollywood nightclub Roxbury. Throughout the "date," Rihanna, who wore a long white flowy dress, kept her more than 17 million Twitter followers up to date on all the action with cryptic posts. In her first, along with a photo of herself and Forde cheek to cheek, she wrote, "My lover for the night."

 An hour later, she tweeted, "I'm not living right, if you're not by my side." After multiple posts about 420 (slang for marijuana) and a photo of of stockings and garters under Rihanna's dress, she wrote, "Beautiful is great, submissive is even better," adding a hashtag that said #marryME." In a follow-up tweet, the 24-year-old quoted a Lil Wayne-Drake song, writing, "But she bad ... So maybe she won't ... But s**t, then again maybe she will." So is Rihanna switching teams? Who really knows. She and Forde are longtime BFFS and Forde has accompanied the singer all over the world as her personal assistant on her tours and family vacations. Because of that, the two have been dogged by lesbian rumors for years, even though Rihanna has publicly been with men, including Chris Brown, Dodgers star Matt Kemp, and Drake. The ladies also have matching tattoos, which read "never a failure, always a lesson," which they got after Brown infamously beat Rihanna in 2009. With all the bad luck she's had with men, maybe Rihanna is better off with a woman.

Mila Kunis::Ashton Klucher not dating

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher aren't dating, says a close friend to the actress. The Hollywood twosome sparked rumours that they were embroiled in a new romance after they were pictured shopping for furniture on Sunday and going back to the actor's Hollywood Hills home. But a source has told Us Weekly that there is nothing going on between them and they are just friends from their days starring together on That '70s Show. "No! They're so not dating," a friend of Mila's told the publication. "They've been friends for years. But she would never ever. Definitely nothing going on there.

" The source added that the pair were out with "three other people" when they were seen leaving a restaurant in Studio City, California. The Black Swan star has not been in a serious relationship since her split from Macaulay Culkin in early 2011 after eight years together. Ashton is estranged from his wife Demi Moore following reports that he cheated on her on their six-year wedding anniversary. He has been linked to other women including Rihanna since then, but the Bajan singer has denied a romance.

Jennifer Aniston :: Opens Up in Marie Clarie

Jennifer Aniston makes a beautiful covergirl for the May issue of Marie Claire Australia. In an all-new interview, she chatted up her and boyfriend Justin Theroux's movie Wanderlust, which opens April 25, but also dished on her love life with him. Here's more from the interview with Jennifer Aniston in Marie Claire Australia: On her relationship with boyfriend Justin Theroux: "He's a protector, for sure. He's just a good human being, and so funny."
On her topless scene for Wanderlust: "There are always nerves when you shoot a scene like
that. But the adrenaline takes you through it and then you have the girls come in and cover you up immediately. I got very comfortable with seeing nude people, pretty much immediately. It was bizarre to know that these were actually nudists — because there's a nudist colony in Clarkesville - and how comfortable they are being nude." On not wanting to be so guarded: "I've really made a conscious effort to not wall myself up like that again. I built those walls pretty high in the past. I think you miss out on a lot of stuff when you're so protected and isolated."
