Britney Spears :: Next X Factor Judege?

Pop Star Britney Spears is thisclose to becoming a judge on The X Factor in Season 2, Deadline.com reports. Reports of the pop star joining Fox's reality competition series surfaced last month, with a reported $10 million offer on the table. Negotiations are said to have hit a turning point over this past weekend, with Spears now expected to join the series with a possible $15 million salary. 

 Britney Spears near deal to become X Factor judge Once Spears' deal is in place, Simon Cowell will look to fill the other vacant slots. Earlier this year, the show cleaned house, axing host Steve Jones and judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul. Last month, remaining judges L.A. Reid and Cowell confirmed that the two open spots would be filled by two women. Janet Jackson was rumored to be one of them, but she quickly shot that notion down. Among the other names being tossed around are Leann Rimes, Stacy Keibler and Darren Criss, though the latter two were for hosting gigs. Criss reportedly already declined.

Britney Spears :: Desiring to be guest on "Modern Family"

Celebrity tweets: They're not just for hawking products or tossing off "I love you, too" missives to fans. Britney Spears is using her Twiter account to try to land a part on "Modern Family."

tweeted, "I know everybody is excited about the Super Bowl, but I personally can't wait to see the next episode of Modern Family! Funniest show on TV." "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara retweeted it, her co-star Julie Bowen thanked Spears ("holy half shirt! Thanks, Britney!) and some fan enthusiasm and a #GetBritneyOnModernFamily hashtag later, a campaign to get the pop star on the Emmy-winning sitcom as a guest star had begun.

Spears' tweeted response: "Ahhhh I would love to be on it!" A person close to Spears tells TheWrap the singer and her reps hope ABC is as excited about the idea as her fans are. Spears has already guest starred on "Will & Grace" and "How I Met Your Mother," and a Twitter campaign launched by her manager, Adam Leber, in April 2010 led to her appearance on "Glee" that September. The episode was among the top three highest-rated "Glee" installments ever.

Britney Spears :: Engaged

Singer Britney Spears confirmed her engagement to longtime beau Jason Trawick last Friday, fans wanted to know everything about the ring, a four-carat diamond designed by Neil Lane. Trawick — Brit's former agent — popped the question after working with tfamed jeweler Lane on the design, according to People.com. The site also reported that Trawick wanted a crown-like band. In addition to the mega-sparkler at the center of the tiara-style setting, the hubby-to-be also had 90 small round diamonds added around the band. Spears debuted the ring during a trip to Las Vegas over the weekend to celebrate her fiancé's birthday.

 "Jason is a romantic and when I asked him to tell me about Britney and what the ring would represent to them so I could find inspiration, his response was always the same — she is his princess!" Lane told the website. "Jason didn't want an over-the-top ring with a giant stone." Minya Oh, the author of "Bling Bling: Hip Hop's Crown Jewels," told MTV News she was pleasantly surprised by how understated the rock is. "The ring is so damn classy! It's [four] carats, which by Hollywood standards these days is practically microscopic," Oh said. "The setting is a tiny crown but both that and the thin diamond-studded band are done so delicately, from afar the focus is still on that bright white center stone. Nothing about the ring overwhelms her hand, and nothing screams, 'Please believe my relationship is real!' "
She added, "This is the kind of ring a pop icon has when they're ready for something that means more than just the ring." This is hardly Spears' first engagement ring, however. When her ex Kevin Federline popped the question back in 2004, the former back-up dancer gave the pop princess a five-carat diamond ring.

Britney Spears :: 30th Birthday

Singer Britney Spears spent her 30th birthday on December 2 in bed with her boys, on a break from her Femme Fatal tour, reading and viewing birthday greetings from fans and other celebrities.

She ended up having some explaining to do to her boys when Ke$ha posted a video greeting to her with the accompanying tweet.

Britney Spears:: ''Be A Mom if not Singing"

Britney Spears has taught the world a thing or two about pop music over the span of her career, but what would the 29-year-old be doing if "...Baby One More Time" had never become a massive hit.
"Raising my family. Being a mom," Brit told PopJustice.com, when asked about possible alternatives to being a pop star.

"[My life,] would probably pretty much be the same because I'm very strong in the way I raise my kids and stuff, so it would probably be pretty much the same, but career-wise I'd probably be a teacher. I love kids and even in what I do now one of my favorite parts of my day is getting to meet my fans before the show. Especially the little ones. They are always so cute," she continued.

The mother of two said while touring she sticks to a strict routine.

"On tour, I usually get up in the morning and I work out, and I spend time with my kids, and then it'll be time to go to the venue, and I have catering, eat dinner then get ready for the show," she explained.

And despite singing about being at the club, Brit said she won't usually be found in them - expect the one in her own house.
"I never go to the club, but I think it's fun to sing about it. And I have my own mini club at my house," she revealed. "And I play a lot of music there... it has a glitterball and we have catering and lights. It's the whole setup."

Britney, who is nominated for two MTV VMAs, will be honored on Sunday with a tribute.

Britney Spears :: Her Dad has filed with the judge in conservatorship case

Jamie has filed with the judge in Britney's conservatorship case asking the judge to give him money for directing the tour and managing the logistics of the tour.

Jamie has not specified the amount of money he wants, and sources tell us it hasn't been calculated yet. Sources tell us the amount will be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, but it's crazy cheap for what Jamie is doing.

To give you some perspective, 5 people managed the 2009 Circus Tour. Although the amount they made is blacked out in the legal documents, we were able to discern the amount is in the 7 figures.

With Jamie on board for the Britney Spears/Nicki Minaj Femme Fatale Tour, 3 of the 5 positions will be eliminated. Thus, if Jamie gets a 6 figure salary for the upcoming 8-month world tour, everybody wins.

Whatever Jamie gets for the tour ... it will be in addition to the $16,000 a month he's pulling in for serving as Britney's conservator.

Britney Spears :: invites Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha to a 'Till The World Ends' remix party

Britney Spears is suddenly a player in the remix game, first dropping in on Rihanna’s “S&M” (which instantly sent that song back to the top of the Billboard Hot 100) and now hosting both Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj on a reworked version of “Till The World Ends.”

Spears premiered the song at her own site and tweeted the single’s cover art. You can listen to their three-way take here.
While Ke$ha’s contribution is generally ignorable—besides the fact that she, know, c0-wrote the track in the first place—Minaj’s cartoonish rap at the top doesn’t jibe very well with the rest of the song’s razor-sharp cool. It’s as though Minaj is rapping on a different song that you have to get through in order to get to the real song.

Britney Spears: Confuesd about sex at teen age

Pop diva Britney Spears says she was “confused” and “disgusted” when she learned about sex at the age of 12.

In a recent magazine interview, the Toxic singer was asked when she first spoke to her parents about the birds and the bees.

“When I was 12 years old. From my mom. I was confused and disgusted,” she told.

Spears also revealed her hidden talents.

“I love to cook,” she said. “I also make a mean Southern sweet tea from a recipe my mom passed on to me. It’s really good. I make it for my boys all the time.”

Spears recently revealed that she would consider “pull and tuck” surgery.

She said ::

“When it’s time to pull and tuck, I’m sure I will consider it.”

Britney Spears :: New Album Coming soon!!!!!!!

Britney Spears is reportedly set to release the second single from her forthcoming 'Femme Fatale' next week.

American pop singer  Britney Spears whose seventh studio album is set to hit shelves on March 29th 2011, is reportedly releasing the album's second single next week, according to MusicRooms.net.

It has been rumoured that Spears would release a follow-up single to 'Hold It Against Me' before the album hits shelves and the website quote an insider at Jive Recordings who confirm that a new track will be available from next week.

They suggest it could be the Kesha penned song 'Till The World Ends' although they also mention the track 'I Wanna Go', which producer Dr Luke recently posted a clip of on Twitter.

Acording to Entertainment Weekly: Anticipation for 'Femme Fatale' has been building for several months now and Spears recently promised fans "a morning to remember" to mark the release of the new record, announcing plans for a special Good Morning America performance on 29th March 2011,

Britney Spears' most recent single 'Hold It Against Me' became a commercial success, debuting at number one on the Us Billboard Hot 100, as well as in Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland and New Zealand.
