"Funny or Die," Selena Gomez and Nick Kroll parody the 2011 erotic novel "Fifty Shades of Grey." In the original novel, a young woman falls for a wealthy but reserved entrepreneur and embarks on an unusual romantic and sexual journey. The planned trilogy of novels first began as a piece of fan fiction inspired by the "Twilight" vampire novels and has received a mix of praise and ridicule from audiences. Rather than falling for a sophisticated but introverted businessman, Gomez instead falls for Kroll, a blunt, disinterested house painter who has arrived at her home for some scheduled work. And he's not much to look at either, with fake acne scars on his face, and using his paintbrush to scratch his own belly button.
 Nonetheless, Gomez cannot help but fall for the "dominant" Kroll. As Gomez narrates her growing affection, Kroll continues with his day job before finally noting, "For a girl that doesn't talk at all, you have full-on creeped me out."

Selena Gomez :: Its Over

Selena Gomez, 19, had already announced she was taking a break from singing to concentrate on her acting career.
Today Selena, who starred in last year's hit film Monte Carlo, told her fans that she is splitting from her band Selena Gomez & The Scene. "Just to clear up my last instagram post, my band and I are going our separate ways for a while. This year is all about films and acting and I want my band to play music wherever with whoever. We will be back but, it will be a good while. I love them and I love you guys :),"
The post the Disney star was referring to was a cryptic note on her Webstagram page that she had posted one hour earlier. It read: "I can't express enough how grateful I am for this group. They have been with me since day one and I can't believe it's actually over. I love you The Scene, marsh mellow girls, Ashley & Ashlee, Jivanta, Marco, Brian & Brian, mark, Jason, Javier, Timmy! Could NOT have done any of this without you. Currently bawling my eyes out. I'll miss you guys."




 The band, who have released three albums together in three years, had just wrapped their South American tour. Selena wrote on her Facebook page before taking to the stage for her final show with her band members: "This tour has been amazing, Thank you all for all the love and support you have shown me on this tour. Today is the last show but. ... I will be back. Love you all."




 The acting career of Selena, who rose to fame in the Wizards of Waverly Place, is evidently taking off following her success in Monte Carlo alongside Leighton Meester.

 She is also starring in thriller Aftershock, which is due for release next year, and a highly anticipated drama Spring Breakers, which is also set to hit cinemas in 2013. The movie, which also stars Vanessa Hudgens, James Franco, Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson and Glee star Heather Morris, tells the story of four college girls who rob a restaurant in order to fund their Spring break.  After they are bailed out by a drug and arms dealer, played by James Franco, they are forced to do some dirty work in order to repay him.

Selena Gomez ::Temporary Restraining Order For Stalkers

Pop Diva Selena Gomez's stalker has had his temporary restraining order extended for three years. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge William D. Stewart ruled that Thomas Brodnicki must stay at least 100 yards away from the 19-year-old star and her family until 2015. The ruling follows a temporary restraining order which was granted in November while Mr. Brodnicki was locked away in a Los Angeles hospital on a 5150 psychiatric hold - which can be enforced if a person is deemed to have a mental disorder which makes them a danger to themselves and/or others.
 Although he has since been released, the defendant did not appear in court but last month filed a declaration acknowledging and consenting to the order. Selena - who is dating popstar Justin Bieber - first requested the protective order last year after Brodnicki allegedly told a therapist God had ordered him to kill the Disney starlet. 

  Speaking about his obsession with Selena previously, he claimed they would one day be together. He said: 'I'm very anti-material, I don't like even touching anything that isn't Selena Gomez. 'Selena Gomez and I are the holy chosen ones of God. I'm not overly concerned if I meet (Selena) in the flesh because it may be like scripture says ... 'No man has seen the face of God' ... Maybe us being together is too much like seeing the face of God.'

Teen  Super star Selena Gomez ever stops by your house, you don’t have to bother taking down the dartboard you made out of her Seventeen cover. The bear trap with Selena’s name scrawled on it dozens of times, however… maybe slide that thing into the coat closet. “It’s a little odd, but I understand it completely,” the “Who Says” singer told Batimore’s Z104.3 about her man’s rabid supporters. “It’s amazing to me to see how many passionate fans there are. So obviously, you’ve just got to think of the fans first, and that’s OK.” Hmmm, all those Twitter death threats Selena received from Bieliebers seem to fall outside the realm of “OK,” but then again, we’ve never received one. Do you…do you guys just not like us as much? Gomez instead looks on the bright side, musing that it’s “kind of cool we have our own individual [fans].” Sure, fans whom the authorities hope will never, ever run into each other in a darkened alley, West Side Story-style.

Selena Gomez :: Stalker Out of Jail

Selena Gomez's alleged stalker has been released from jail. Thomas Brodnicki - who allegedly told a therapist God had ordered him to kill the 19-year-old star - has had the stalking case against him dismissed by a Los Angeles judge, as there was not enough evidence against him. Los Angeles County District Attorney spokesperson Sandi Gibbons told E! News:

 'After a preliminary hearing the judge over our strong objection ruled that the defendant lacked the intent to cause fear to the victim and dismissed the case. We are evaluating our next step.' However, Brodnicki - who has a criminal history of stalking - does have a temporary restraining order in place, which forbids him to go within 100 yards of Selena.
 A hearing on whether the order should be made permanent will be held on November 23.

 As well as claiming God had told him to kill Selena, he also claimed he had travelled from Chicago to Los Angeles to meet her and 'visited her workplace at least three times'. The Los Angeles Police Department were said to be treating the case 'extremely seriously' because of Brodnicki's history of stalking.

Selena Gomez :: host for breaking news in VMA

Teen diva Selena Gomez is going to work the “black carpet” at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards from a different angle: as a celebrity host.

MTV issued a press release Friday announcing that Gomez will “be reporting breaking news and interviewing her peers alongside MTV News correspondents Sway, Jim Cantiello and James Montgomery.” (In case you’re wondering, there is always a ton of breaking news on the black carpet at the VMAs.)

Selena Gomez is quite excited.

“After all of my years watching the VMA’s, the pre-show has always been one of my favorite parts,” she says in the press release.

Hey, who knows? Maybe she’ll be good at this and can eventually work her way up to asking questions on the Golden Globe red carpet for E!

At the very least, she’ll most certainly have some hard-hitting questions to ask Justin Bieber during the VMAs on Aug. 28.

Pop diva Selena Gomez smiles giddily at the crowd’s reaction as she hosts the Monte Carlo Mall Tour at Laurel Park Place on Monday afternoon (June 27) in Livonia, Mich.

The 18-year-old actress/singer chatted with the crowd about her new flick, opening this weekend, before performing “Who Says” and saying goodbye.

“Thanks Detroit, getting ready for my flight by the time I land my album should be out!!!! Only 3 and a half hours…” Selena tweeted after her stop.

Selena Gomez :: Out of hospital

The 18-year-old pop singer Selena Gomez was taken to a hospital for nausea and a severe headache following a "Tonight Show" appearance. Gomez rescheduled a performance at Santa Monica Place for June 13. The appearance is part of a mall tour to promote her new romantic comedy film "Monte Carlo," which is set for release on July 1.
"Feeling much better, thank you all for being so understanding," Gomez Tweeted on Monday. "Can't wait to see you all today at Santa Monica Place for the Monte Carlo kick off."

Gomez's ailment was not revealed. Her boyfriend, teen pop star Justin Bieber, used his Twitter page, following by some 10 million fans, to wish Gomez well and spread a potential trending topic, saying: #getwellselena.

Her fans also offered support and Gomez wrote on Facebook, "I just wanted to say thank you so much for all of the get well wishes. I love you guys so much."

Selena Gomez : Shifted to hospital

Selena Gomez was rushed to hospital last night following an appearance on U.S. television.

The 18-year-old singer and actress was suffering nausea and a severe headache, her spokesman told MailOnline.

She was taken to a hospital in the Los Angles area and is currently undergoing tests.

The cause of her illness is, however, still a mystery.

A spokesman for the star confirmed: 'Last night after Selena's appearance on The Tonight Show she wasn't feeling well and was taken to the hospital.

'She is currently undergoing routine tests.'

Gomez seemed to be on good form during the show, telling the host how her boyfriend Justin Bieber - who today tweeted his sweetheart a Twitter message of support - has already 'passed the mom test' saying her mother Mandy had given Bieber, 17, the thumbs up.

'Has your mom met Justin Bieber?' Leno asked, to which the smiling former Disney star replied: 'Yes.'
'And how did that go? Ok? Did she like him?' asked Leno.

'He passed the test," the Texas-born star responded.

Selena and Justin have been enjoying a whirlwind romance in recent months.

They attended the NBA finals together in Dallas earlier this week and enjoyed a romantic break together in Hawaii recently.

She has been by his side to watch him scoop awards at the recent Billboard Awards too.

And just last month Selena accompanied him to his homeland of Canada to meet his family.

But despite their relationship seemingly going from strength to strength, Selena has had a tough time with some of Bieber's fans.

It was recently reported how she had received online death threats from jealous fans.

The teen singing sensations,who were spotted holding hands at Santa Monica Pier, California, on Sunday stopped off for an ice cream while on their romantic stroll, but Bieber  was the perfect gentleman and insisted on paying for the 18-year-old Disney star’s tasty treat.

“Selena ordered a kid’s chocolate ice cream in a sugar cone,” a source said. “She tried to pay with her credit card, but Justin took it out of her hand and gave his card instead.


“Justin didn’t order anything. They were really quiet. Honestly, they seemed like very ordinary people.”

Despite tof their first public date, 16-year-old Justin who was recently believed to be romancing That’s So Raven actress Jasmine Villegas and Selena reportedly attracted quite a crowd of fans eager to learn whether they were a fully-fledged couple.

“They were quite the spectacle,” the source added. “Everyone was whispering and snapping pics and videos with their phones.”

With the pair having been spotted on a string of dates in recent weeks, Bieber admitted Selena was one of his “best friends”.
