Rihanna :: Newest Tattoo

Rihanna can't stop, won't stop when it comes to loading up on tattoos! For her latest ink, she went to her favorite NYC tattoo artist, Bang Bang, and his soon-to-be-opened tattoo parlor on the Lower East Side. While there on Thursday, the "We Found Love" singer opted for a tiny cross on the left side of her collarbone. "We cut the color with water, so it'll end up being light  like the "rebelle" tattoo on her neck,"

Bang Bang, 26, describes to Us Weekly about the star's new ink. He adds that she decided to place her tattoo on her collarbone because it's easy for her to hide with a necklace but also can be in plain sight.
"She loved it," Bang Bang, who has done around 12 of her various tattoos including the "Shhh" one on her finger, tells Us. "She always flips out [when it's done] and jumps up and down like a 16-year-old girl getting her first car."

Rihaana :: "Thug life "Tattoo On Hand

Rihanna unveiled Wednesday a tattoo of one of the slain rapper's most popular sayings across her fists, "THUG LIFE." Tupac actually had the words tattooed on his abdomen.

The "Good Girl Gone Bad" singer made her Twitter announcement with a quote from the chorus of Meek Mill's song "Tupac Back." "All these b*tches screaming that 2pac back," she wrote on her page on the social networking site. "I #LOVE my new tattoo!!!," she added. "Can't wait for yall to se it!!! I got it in "Tibetan" this time!!!"
Rihanna's shocking new tattoo prompted Thug Life to become a trending topic on Twitter. In the picture posted on Lockerz, Rihanna shows off the artwork on her knuckles. Her hair is poufy and curly and she's wearing a John Lennon t-shirt. Rihanna also tweeted a picture with gangsta villain actor Danny Trejo, who she saw in the tattoo parlor.
Thug Life is also the name of a rap group formed by Tupac. The members included Tupac's stepbrother Mopreme Shakur, Rated R, Big Syke, and Macadoshis. Their 1994 album, "Thug Life: Volume 1," included the single "Pour Out A Little Liquor." The album was certified gold.

Rihanna ::Slams Fashion Magazines

Singer Rihanna didn't shy from calling them on it (while calling them a few no-no words of her own). In the controversy’s wake, the editor who approved the story has since resigned from her post. Jackie magazine published a statement announcing this news on their Facebook wall yesterday.
 "I hope you can read English," Rihanna tweeted to Jackie editor-in-chief Eva Hoeke addressing the article, "because your magazine is a poor representation of the evolution of human rights! I find you disrespectful, and rather desperate!! You ran out of legit, civilized information to print! There are 1000's of Dutch girls who would love to be recognized for their contributions to your country, you could have given them an article. Instead, u paid to print one degrading an entire race! That's your contribution to this world! To encourage segregation, to mislead the future leaders to act in the past! And while it's unclear whether Rihanna had a translator on hand to help her through the finer points of the piece, the headline alone could have prompted the controversy. The story ran under the title: "De N***gabitch."
 According to a statement posted on Jackie magazine's Facebook page, readers had been expressing their disgust with the headline online prior to Rihanna's response, and Hoecke addressed the situation through both her Twitter account and a statement published on Facebook in which she apologized for the "slip" and said that the "title of the article was intended as a joke -- it was a bad joke, to say the least." She continued: "Furthermore I hope that you all believe there was absolutely no racist motive behind the choice of words. It was stupid, it was naive to think that this was an acceptable form of slang -- you hear it all the time on tv and radio, then your idea of what is normal apparently shifts  but it was especially misguided: there was no malice behind it." Though Rihanna has, as evidenced above, already shared her strongly worded opinion of the situation, a recent Facebook post by the magazine invited the singer “to share her feelings and thoughts on the article in the next issue.

Rihanna :: Song Banned in France

Rihanna's 'We Found Love' music video has been banned in France. The video - which details a destructive relationship between a couple, played by the Barbadian beauty and model Dudley O'Shaughnessy - can only be broadcast after 10pm because their love scenes were deemed too "suggestive" to watch before the watershed. The promo has previously been slammed after it appeared to allude to the abusive relationship Rihanna had with her former boyfriend, Chris Brown, who pleaded guilty to assault in 2009, by showing the 23-year-old star and Dudley raving with friends, fighting and getting intimate with one another.

 Filming of the controversial mini-movie also angered a farmer in Belfast, Northern Ireland, earlier this year when he kicked Rihanna and her film crew out of his field because he was unhappy with her skimpy outfit. Devout Christian Alan Graham said at the time: "If someone wants to borrow my field and things become inappropriate, then I say, 'Enough is enough'. "I wish no ill will against Rihanna and her friends. Perhaps they could acquaint themselves with a greater God." However, Rihanna is proud of the promo, tweeting recently: "We've never done a video like this before. This is probably one of the deepest videos I've ever done. It's all about love and love being like a drug. You definitely get that from this. "The good feeling of it and the dangers of it. That's what this video is about."
