Actres Demi Moore is finally ready to move on from her failed marriage to Ashton Kutcher. At least in the Twitterverse. The "G.I. Jane" actress ended months of speculation Thursday, finally answering the question: "When is she going to change her Twitter handle?" Moore had been going by @MrsKutcher, a handle that grew more awkward with each passing day since November, when she announced plans to divorce "Two and a Half Men" star Kutcher. Moore now goes by @JustDemi. According to her account, the actress chose the new moniker because it's "playful." "So hard finding a name that was fun somewhat playful and available," Moore wrote. "So for now it will be @justdemi It could grow on me!"

 In December, Moore dismissed notions that she needed to change her Twitter name ASAP in order to distance herself from her ex. "Changing my twitter name isn't a top priority right now," she tweeted. "Sorry it bothers so many of u. Should I not tweet until I do? Does it really matter?"

Demi Moore :: Back from Hospital

The actress was rushed to Sherman Oaks Hospital on Monday evening (23.01.12), after suffering a seizure at a birthday party she was hosting at her home and although she was reportedly treated for anorexia and substance abuse, her director pal Patty Jenkins says she is recovering.




 Patty told E! Online: 'I just saw her and she's doing great. I think she's doing much better than it's made out to be. 'Demi is awesome and so strong. I also hate when people make it a bigger drama than what is going on. She's great.' Despite Patty's claims that reports of Demi's condition have been exaggerated, a frantic 911 call made by her panicked friends revealed the actress had 'smoked something' and was suffering from 'convulsions' on the night she was taken to hospital.

 The star's friend can be heard on the tape of the call saying: 'We need an ambulance here as soon as possible. Why is an ambulance not on its way right now? She smoked something. It's not marijuana, but it's similar to, it's similar to incense, and she seems to be having convulsions of some sort.' The dispatcher then asked the terrified pal if Demi, 49, was conscious and breathing. The friend replied: 'Yes, well semi-conscious, barely ... And she's convulsing. She smoked something, but the reaction was accidental. It's accidental.' Another friend, a woman, then takes the phone and reveals Demi had taken another substance before the smoking incident. The operator asks: 'Is she breathing normally?' To which the second person responds: 'No, um, not so normal, but more sort of shaking, convulsing. But burning up ... She's been having some issues lately with some other stuff, so I don't know what she's been taking.'

Demi moore :: Struggling

Actress Demi Moore's split from Ashton Kutcher is reportedly taking its toll on her. The 49-year-old actress called time on her six-year marriage to the Two and A Half Men star after reports that he was unfaithful on their wedding anniversary.

 An insider has said that Moore has been keeping a low-profile while she grieves the end of her relationship. "She never wanted it to end with Ashton, but it did," a friend of the Ghost star told the publication. "She saw him a few weeks ago - they had a meeting at Facebook's headquarters in Northern California to discuss a project and it was a little tense. "She's a good person who's been on a bad track, and she needs to get out of this rut." But the mother-of-three is said to have lots of interesting projects lined up including writing her memoir. She is also in talks to develop a talk show for Lifetime about empowering women. "The timing is perfect because the world views Demi as a victim," the pal said. "But that's all about to change."

Demi Moore :: Likeliness of Feminist Gloria Steinem

Actress Demi Moore will star in a porn film without a porn rating. In a biopic about adult film star Linda Boreman, a.k.a. Linda Lovelace, Demi will assume the likeliness of feminist Gloria Steinem. Adam Brody has also latched onto this project as Lovelace's Deep Throat co-star Harry Reems. Eric Roberts has been added to portray a lie detector expert. Amanda Seyfried earns top billing as the title character. Cameras started rolling on Lovelace in Los Angeles in late December. Hank Azaria, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Robert Patrick, Wes Bentley, Sharon Stone and Juno Temple will also star.
In real life, Demi Moore is a devout philanthropist and spokesperson for causes such as human sexual trafficking. Interestingly, she has also tweeted intimate photos of her own scantily-clad bikini body while married to Ashton Kutcher, who she is in the process of divorcing.

Demi Moore :: Divorced

Actress Demi Moore announced "with great sadness" the end of her high-profile marriage to Ashton Kutcher, after his reported infidelity with a woman less than half her age. Thursday's confirmation comes after months of media reports about problems between the Hollywood power couple, who married in 2005 when she was 42 and he was 27. She had earlier been married to actor Bruce Willis for 13 years. "It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton," the 49-year-old said in a statement issued through her publicist.

"As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life." Thirty-three year-old Kutcher, who recently took over from troubled star Charlie Sheen in the hit TV series "Two and a Half Men," tweeted a poignant message minutes after Moore's announcement. "I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK," he wrote.
As well as being a famous acting couple, Moore and Kutcher have both been pioneers of the use of social media, notably Twitter. Moore, whose movies include "Ghost" (1990), "A Few Good Men" (1992), "Indecent Proposal" (1993) and "G.I. Jane" (1997), may have to get a new Twitter name: her current one is @mrskutcher. She made no immediate comment on her Twitter feed -- her usual method of sharing news, comment or other information -- after announcing the split via her publicist.

 Rumors of trouble in the marriage flared in recent weeks after Kutcher reportedly had unprotected sex with a 22-year-old woman during a trip with friends to San Diego -- allegedly on September 24, the night of his sixth wedding anniversary with Moore. The blonde Texan, Sara Leal, said afterwards that Kutcher told her that he was no longer with Moore.
"He said he was separated and it felt natural," Leal told US magazine last month. "He was good... It wasn't weird or perverted," she added, saying that their pillow talk involved politics, particularly the Republican candidates for president. Earlier this year, Moore and Kutcher launched the Demi and Ashton Foundation aimed at ending child sex-slavery. But signs of strain could be seen in September, when Moore posted a picture of a broken heart, and tweeted: "2day can U feel some1 else's heart pain needs desires as U can feel your own? At the core we're all reaching 4 the same." Kutcher answered with the post:

Kutcher is best known for TV shows including "That 70s Show" and "Punk'd," and this year replaced troubled actor Charlie Sheen in the popular comedy "Two and a Half Men." His big-screen roles have include "What Happens in Vegas" (2008) and this year's sex comedy "No Strings Attached" with Natalie Portman. Moore is also famous for a 1991 Vogue magazine front cover photo of her heavily pregnant with her daughter Scout LaRue, her second child with Willis after the pair married in 1987. On Thursday Moore said she would now focus on rebuilding her life separately from Kutcher. "This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation," she said.
