Olivia Wilde :: New Hair style

The lovely Olivia Wilde is kicking off 2012 with a new man and a new 'do! Not only has the former "House M.D." star been seen several times with "Saturday Night Live" funny guy (and quite the ladies' man) Jason Sudeikis, but on Wednesday she was photographed leaving the Andy LeCompte Salon in West Hollywood, California, with some shorter, lighter strands. That's right, 27-year-old Olivia has traded her signature long locks for wavy, shoulder-length tresses in an ombre hue, although she maintained her long bangs.

While it's true that Olivia would look hot with any hairstyle, this one is less severe and polished than the one she donned in the past. The "In Time" actress also looks younger and more refreshed, like she's ready for a new period of her life, especially after last year's split with her husband of seven years, Italian filmmaker Tao Ruspoli. The real question is whether Jason likes the look. Lately, the two have been practically inseperable as they hit a post-"SNL" bash, caught a University of Kansas basketball game, strolled in NYC, and more always with hearts and flowers in their eyes. Something tells me he'll approve!

Olivia Wilde :: Inspiration at Lauren Show

Olivia Wilde said she jetted from Kenya ,where she was filming a documentary,to Toronto, where she was promoting a new film, to make her way to New York for fashion week, where she only attended one show. "I'm really happy I made it because it was a very special show,"
Wilde said .

Thursday after watching Ralph Lauren's spring-summer collection come alive on the catwalk.

The 27-year-old sat on the front row and said it gave her a chance to find some inspiration for the red carpet. "There were so many red carpet pieces," she smiled. "It felt very ethereal and elegant and very modern woman, at the same time having a very classic, Gatsby feel." The "House" and "Cowboys & Aliens" actress eyed Lauren's robin egg-blue georgette dress with beading on one hip. On the front row, she rocked an all-black ensemble highlighted by a diamond cutaway at the chest, explaining: "I saw it and was like, 'That's what I want to wear.' For me it feels like something I would wear around New York."

Olivia Wilde :: Act in part of "Cowboys & Aliens"

"Cowboys &Aliens" star Olivia Wilde says it was "kind of strange" being half-naked in front of a bunch of people. To that we say - yeah.

Wilde tells MTV, "I was half-naked in front of a bunch of people, including the crew, a bunch of Apache warriors, a bunch of cowboys, and Daniel Craig, who I had to stand in front of basically naked. He had to take a moment to sort of look me up and down before covering me in a blanket. And I was like, this is crazy."

She also talks about how the movie tried to be authentically dirty. "We were literally dirty because we were riding all day long out in the desert, and you get very dirty. But the dirtier everybody looked, the hotter they looked. It was a really good look, I think. The people in the Old West were very dirty. The thing that's unrealistic about our movie is all our teeth: We have good teeth; they didn't have good teeth."

Heh. "Cowboys &Aliens" opens nationwide Friday, July 29. It looks like it could be the blockbuster of the summer.

Olivia Wilde :: End of marriage

Actress Olivia Wilde looks like she's having a ball with her co-stars in her movies, that part's probably not an act.

"I’ve been lucky to have chemistry with my co-stars, and I really enjoy pretend kissing," Oilivia, who has worked with Justin Timberlake ("Now"), Ryan Reynolds ("The Change-Up") and Daniel Craig ("Cowboys & Aliens"), tells the June issue of Glamour. "If you’re pretending to love each other, you’ve got to find something to fall in love with."

In real life, however, her romantic life has been more rocky. In February, Wilde announced that she and her Italian prince hubby Ruspoli were separating after eight years of marriage.

"It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do," says the "House M.D." star, who wed at 18. "We got engaged at Burning Man and married on a school bus. We were not conventional. I think the promise we always made was that if we are no longer happy, we won’t continue. And it got to the point where I was working 10 months of the year outside of L.A. and he was doing incredible things in other places. We were no longer partners in crime."

Wilde adds that she doesn't view the experience as a failure. "The mark of a good marriage is partnership and continuing to feel inspired by your spouse. I had that with Tao," she says. "But the end is not necessarily the tragedy. Staying in a relationship that is no longer working is the tragedy. Living unhappily—that’s the tragedy."

As for dating again, Olivia Wildle, who has been linked in recent months to Timberlake and Ryan Gosling, says she is open to being in another committed relationship.

"I don’t want to, but I probably will. I wish I could play the field. But it’s so not me," she says. "I go 100 percent into everything. And I’m a really good girlfriend."
